Dolochar Coal is Best of Power Plants Beneficiated dolochar-a great substitute fuel for afbc/cfbc boilers: At present India is able to produce about 450 MTPA of raw coal against national demand of 550MTPA. Captive power plants are mostly depending on imported coal from Indonesia.Steep increase in price of this imported coal is forcing the domestic consumer to depend on eauction,which in turn is causing further price rise of domestic coal. Viability/sustainability of DRI and captive power plant is becoming a question in this scenario.
